With Scotia Mobile Banking, you can:

  • Transfer funds between your accounts
  • Transfer funds to another Scotiabanks customer's account
  • Pay bills
  • Search for a check.
  • Stop check payment.
  • Change your password and access code.
  • Complete your enrolment.

How much does it cost to use Scotia Mobile Banking?
Scotia Mobile Banking is a free service available to customers enrolled in Scotia OnLine Banking. Please check with your wireless provider about charges that may apply to browsing the web on your phone.

What are the requirements to access Scotia Mobile Banking?
In order to access Scotia Mobile Banking, you must be enrolled in our free Scotia OnLine Banking. You must also have an internet-enabled mobile device and wireless service.

How do I complete my enrolment via Scotia Mobile Banking?

  • Contact our Customer support and get your temporal password
  • Sign on to Scotia Mobile Banking (Please remember it expires after 24 hours)
  • Reset Temporal Password.
  • Create your Access Code.
  • Create your Security Questions and Answers.

Why am I being asked to enable JavaScript on my Blackberry?

How do I view my account information through Scotia Mobile Banking?
In order to access your account information, please login to your Scotia Mobile Banking account then:

  • Click on 'Accounts'
  • Click on the account you would like to view
  • Click on a specific transaction to view the details

How do I pay a bill through Scotia Mobile Banking?
In order to pay a bill via Scotia Mobile Banking, please login to your Scotia Mobile Banking account then:

  • Click on "Bill Payment"
  • Click on the account you would like to "pay from"
  • Click on the payee you would like to make a payment to
  • Enter the bill payment amount
  • Click on "Submit"
  • Click on "Confirm"

How do I transfer funds via Scotia Mobile Banking?
In order to transfer funds via Scotia Mobile Banking, please login to your Scotia Mobile Banking account then:

  • Click on "Funds Transfer"
  • Click on the account you would like to transfer funds from
  • Click on the account you would like to transfer funds to
  • Enter the "transfer amount"
  • Click on "Submit" and check the details
  • Click on "Confirm"

How do I transfer funds to another Scotiabank customer via Scotia Mobile Banking?
In order to transfer funds to another Scotiabank customer via Scotia Mobile Banking, please login to your Scotia Mobile Banking account, and then:

  • Click on "Funds Transfer"
  • Click on the account you would like to transfer funds from
  • Click on the "Third Party Transfer" link listed under the accounts in the "Transfer to"
  • Select the "Recipient" if has not been added yet, then select "Add recipient".
  • Enter the "Transfer amount"
  • Click on "Continue" and verify the details
  • Click on "Confirm"

How do I search for a check?
In order to search for a processed check, please login to your Scotia Mobile Banking account, and then:

  • Click on "Other Services"
  • Click on "Check Lookup"
  • Click on the account from where the Check was issued
  • Enter the Check Number to search for and click "View Details"

How do I stop a check payment?
In order to stop a check not processed, please login to your Scotia Mobile Banking account, and then:

  • Click on "Other Services"
  • Click on "Stop Check Payment"
  • Click on the account from where the Check was issued
  • Enter the Check details
  • Click "Continue"

Can I transfer funds between accounts of different currencies via Scotia Mobile Banking?
No, at this time you can only transfer funds between same currency accounts.

Can I use my browser's "Back" button?
Yes, you can use your browser's back button but please make sure that you are not in the middle of submitting a transaction.

Can I access my Commercial accounts through Scotia Mobile Banking?
No, at this time it's not possible to access commercial accounts via Scotia Mobile Banking.
